I'd love to see how this trip went. Maybe some unintended off roadin' along some Utah highway. Given the hills in the background I'd hate to see him coming down some 2 lane mountain pass.
I like the extra support with the heavy duty chains and S-hooks. He also paid up big for the 5/16 sheet metal screws to secure the hitch rails to the tail gate. Likely 2 more through the carpet into the floorpan inside. Probabbly overkill but didn't want the possibility of an axerdent!
I'm sure he spent quite a bit of time whittlin down that massive solid pine 4X4 post to fit precisely into the hole in the ball mount receiver.
