Lets plan my vacation for 04

I am starting to research my vacation for 04

A few places I want to see include. .



1)Mt. Rushmore and the Crazy Horse thing

2)Some of the Black Hills, and Badlands

3)Cruise up into the Yellowstone National Park

4)If time permitting, I'd like to see the Devils Tower



Any other "gotta sees" or cool stuff that I shouldn't miss while I am out there? I want to see as much as I can in 10 days or so.

I-90?

I am assuming that you'll be on I-90 west on your way to the Hills from WI. You'll pass through Mitchell SD, about an hour west o' Sioux Falls. There is a Cabela's store there. (There's a bigger one in Owatonna MN but it's north of I-90 about an hour) If you're into outdoors stuff at all, it's a great place to visit.



Also, I should mention the world famous "Corn Palace" located near Mitchell. Why I should mention it I don't know, but some people like it.



You'll see a lot of wide open spaces out there.

When you go between Devil's Tower and Yellowstone, be sure to stop off in Cody, WY, at the Buffalo Bill Museum complex.



The complex has several museums with some amazing exhibits, including Col. Cody's gun collection.
