I saw this thread and felt bad that I didn't have a picture of it all nice and shiny, but you guys all have pictures of yours working! Can't find any pictures of mine in the gunk at the moment, but I do have this one:

It may sound hard to believe but the paint job on this truck looks as good as the day I purchased it in 2001. Lots of wax jobs with Maguires # 26 wax.

I like them you can expect a rougher ride but great tire wear over 40k and still lots of tread left. They will most likely dry rot before they wear out. They changed the RPM range slightly which now traveling down the highway its around 2K instead of 2.4k @70mph. Yes I have pulled heavy with this set-up from Washington state to Tennessee just over 25k and have been as heavy as 30k just not long distances. All still using 6th gear and still pulls with little effort.

That is a nice lookin rig . Where did you get your tow mirrors ?

I can't remember where I got those mirrors. I'll check my old receipts. I think they were about $150 for the pair. These are the aftermarket tip up tow mirrors that you can adjust from inside the truck. I picked up a mirror switch on Ebay which is used for the non-tow mirrors but works with these.

Edit: Found the info on these. They are made by Kool Vue. Here are the parts numbers: DG49EL, DG49ER

Here is where I purchased them:

Here is the part number for the switch: Mirror adjustment switch 56021311
