Any one here ever installed 1. 5 inch coil spring spacers on there CTD. I have a Ram 2500 and have ordered them. How hard are they to install?

I've done two 2" one 3" and my new trucks torn apart waiting for 3" superlift spacers as we speak so next week I'll have done 2 of each. not a big deal at all if you can find a good spring commpressor it will be much easier but most are a tight fit and hard to work with. I just unbolt the frontend to where you can drop it real low, pop the spacer in and jack the axle back up to the upper shock tower feel free to pm me and I'll send you my # and I can go into more detail if you like.

Yes, on our '97 but it was the 2" steel spacers from Jack-It, and they work fine with stock springs and stock height shocks. Moved the axle about 1/2" to the left, though because the track bar doesn't stretch. .

Jack the truck up and put it on stands then let down the axle with the swaybar unbolted at the bushings. The brake lines should be let out of their keepers but no need to disconnect them. There's plenty of room to take out the springs put in the spacers and reassemble it all without compressing the springs.

I used the steel kit because I'd heard that the poly type spacers realize less than advertised height increase. Maybe they compress?
