Lexan Diff Covers

I saw in Summit flyer today that Trans-Dapt makes lexan diff covers. You can see your gears and keep track of your fluid now! They at least had them for the Dana 70... but not the 80. Kinda neat in a way. Doub't I'll be getting one though.

I see we are both on the "Mailing list". I seen them two, I think they are interesting but I wouldn't be buying any. The chrome and aluminum ones are hard enough to keep clean, much less a clear one. I'm sure there are plenty of other people that will find them a "must have item".

Purdy isn't always the best route to go. I would imagine that Lexan has horrible heat dissipation properties.

Not to mention that the steel cover being bolted across that huge hole also helps keep the diff. from flexing.
