I got inside the door, cleaned up all switches took them completely apart to the contacts, all good. The window gets stuck in various positions . When pounding on the inside door panel below the switches, the window moves, or push down on window, while pushing up/down button, the window moves. If its the motor sticking, what can I do  ?

Happy Holidays to Y'all in the 1st Gen scene, and to all TDR!

Thank you, Patrick :D

Yes sounds like motor. Be very careful the spring on the regulator is very strong. Safest way is to remove the motor while the regulator is in the door with the window glass still attatched. Use a hole saw with a very short pilot bit to make holes in the door skin for access to the 3 motor mounting bolts

I had a similar problem and found a wire in the loom between the body and the door was broken. It caused the same problem you described and it had no regular pattern. It was in the pass side door loom but it was the left side that had the problem:confused::confused:. Once fixed it I have not had any problems with either side. My pass side door has rarely been used - go figure!
