I've searched in vain for a 3" tall lift block for my rear springs. The ones I found are either too short or too narrow or tapered or not steel or ... ..... Then I thought what if I got the originals machined to shorten them - to the tune of $100 each. That's too expensive. What I'm thinking now is making my own by cutting a length of 3" square tubing and supporting the inside with more tubing welded in place then closing off the ends with a solid plate welded on. Of course, there would be no tabs for the bump stops, but do I really need those anyway? What's your opinion - will this work and be strong enough?
Thanks.
Jim
