A few months ago I went to a 4. 5" Skyjacker front coil to replace the Tuff Country Spacer and stock I had been running for a few years. Unfortunately for me, it has made the truck ride VERY rough, and the front suspension is very very stiff compaired to the stock coil. I though it would be a flexier softer coil, but I was WAY wrong! Any of you guys running a 4-5" lift have experiance to which is a good all around coil that isnt too stiff? I have a Fabtech long Arm kit on it, but didnt get the coils because the guy I bought it from had it on a 360 gasser.

Thanks

I ran into a similar situation with my 94 3/4 ton that has a 360 gas. I installed coil spring spacers. Thought it could ride better. I had Valley Spring make some longer coil springs. Installed them, then front was higher than rear. Bought 4" Skyjacker rear springs. Sat about level. Installed Cepek (Extreme Suspension) long arm box kit on front. Added coil spring spacers to Valley Spring coil springs. Installed stock blocks back to rear of truck and did u bolt flip at same time. The truck rides firm, but not choppy, rough. Would almost say it rides better than my 96 diesel with the leveling spacers. Don't know if this helped you out much.
