Man, my lead sled has taken quite a nose dive over the years. I'm been researching lift kits, and the manuf. choices are mind boggling. I'ld love to go 5-6" but I think that is overall impractical and I don't have 1200-2500 just laying around. I'm even still running the original shocks with 185K on them. I know I know! It seems the leveling kit is the way to go, and there is a wide variety available to achieve the same amount; 2". From a 100. 00 for rubber spacers (which I won't do) to 700-800 for RCD or Pro Comp. I was looking at tuff county 3", but found a review on JC Whitney online from a disgruntled customer who has my exact CTD. He said the bushings were out in a year, and everything was sized for a gas truck and lacked beef. I read this before purchasing the same kit. Any one had good experience? The Rancho kit is now on the list, seems to be the best bet for the $.

Why not just save your money, buy yourself some decent front shocks and wait till you way the funds to purchase a quality lift kit.

Ya, sometimes you have to cool your jets. I have to keep reminding myself you get what you pay for. Any suggestions on a good particular kit?
