Is anyone running a lift kit on their CTD? i am considering the installation of at least a 2" lift so that I can run some bigger tires. I currently have the stock LT 265-75-R16 and would like to upgrade to 35" tires.

Does the lift kit affect the ride of the truck, towing capacity or payload capacity?

What brands are better?

Thanks in advance for the information

I am running a 3 in. body lift, with 35'' tires. It all depends on what tires you put on for the affect of the ride. My towing didn't change or my payload. Performance Accessories from JC WHITNEY seems to make a good body lift kit. If you use a Suspension lift, I am not sure what you will lose/gain regarding payload and towing but I would reccommend a Skyjacker lift for that.

I actually just put PRO COMP All Terrains (315/75/16) on friday and love the ride and the noise is a lot less than my original mudders. I put the tires on my stock rims that used the same tires you have on now.
