Lift pump cross reference please

Decided to change the fuel filter tonight, found out the hard way that the lift pump arm is broke off in pump. I doudt that my former employer(dealer) has one in stock. I figure my best bet is one of the local logging or farm equipment dealers. Does any one have a crossreference to say a John Deere or Case part number or application that will match the pump on my 89? Truck is stuck in shop at work and I'm supposed to pick up a load of firewood tomorrow.

call cummins anywhere and give them cpl number and tell them engine down and they will red label it too ya

Truck fixed

Imagine my suprise when the parts God at Carquest told me he had on setting on the shelf. Didn't even have to look it up. I worked for Dodge dealers as a tech from a month before the Cummins was released till April of this year and had never replaced the lift pump on a first gen before.

Thanks for the quick reply Brandon, I'll keep it in mind if I ever run in to a problem again.

Had noticable increase in mid range power on way home with truck. I wonder how long the lift pump has been dead???
