I realize that the lift pumps on our truck should be the "same" whether purchased from DC or from a CUmmins dist. Is there any difference, say with the wire harnesses? I would figure the way the DC is that they may have a different harness and plug to complicant things for us. ALso I would assume the the pumps are made by the same company regardless where u buy them from? Will the most recent part number/update work if my truck calls for a different number?

I'm gonna buy a new lift pump to throw in the tool box as mine is starting to show alittle inconsitency at times. I'd much rather deal with CUmmins that DC at this point in time.

Thanks

They are exactly the same. Chrysler just puts a new label over the Cummins label and bumps the price. The D/C box does include the extension harness that is necessary on the earlier models.

Is there any way to get just the adapter harness to the 99 trucks? When i asked the dealer about it, we ended up in an argument because i did not buy it from DC even though he was twice as high as cummins.
