Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Lift pump failure on the road in Seattle, where to go?

Hey folks, I'm doing a nautical school here in downtown Seattle, when I start the rig fule preasure is 6 psi, putting down the road it goes to 4, even 2.



After it warms up(10 min. ), it jumps back to 10 running and 12 sitting. I suspect the LP is about to cr*p out completely soon if not already. Where would I go here to have one of those aftermarket PE 4200's installed?? The diesel shop in Monroe mabey?

DDP in Monroe would be a good choice or even the http://www.thepowershop.com ine enumclaw



do not go with the PE 4200 you would be much better off with the FASS system or the Rasp.

Does it do this only when cold? If so, it might just be a plugged filter. The fuel is pretty viscous when cold. If it drops when hot it probably is the LP.

WestTN, it didn't do it this AM, not cold here in Seattle by any stretch, just changed filter 2500 miles ago, mabye got a bad batch of fuel here in town. Still flutters though, can't keep my eye off the gauge now, it's like blood preasure to me, kind of. Paul
