I just called my local dealer, they told me there were two lift pumps available for an '01. std. and H. O. Has anyone ever heard of this? If so will the HO fit a std. 235hp truck. I just installed banks big hoss tuner, and gauges. My fuel press. is 9-10 at idle 6 on highway and o-3 wot. I know I need to replace pump!! There is no question there.

Dealers are notorious for not realizing that there are 2 fuel pumps on our trucks. It sounds like they are talking about injection pumps.

Either way, no, there is only one LP for the trucks, and you would be best to get it through Cummins, some other Big Rig shop, or I think Mopar For Less (on line). The price should be $156 or less. Delaers will charge upwards of $200.

There are also two lift pumps--one without the harness and one with the harness. This depends on the year rather than the motor. Also, don't buy it from the dealer. Order it through Cummins for $140-$160.
