Had to post a positive note related to lift pumps. Thanks to the f/o gauge, I'd been watching my fuel psi slowing head south. Dropping from 12 to 9 at idle over the course of a few months. With a trip to Florida planned on the 24th (5er in tow), it was time. Diesel Fuel Systems in Bangor Maine hooked me up in time for the weekend. Put the new one in and cranked it up... . 15 psi at idle Oo. Time (and money) well spent. It will buy me some time to save my pennies for the FASS :) Next up, the Rancho 9000 install, then get the 5er ready to go. For those who don't have a f/o psi gauge... . get one, as this saved me alot of aggrevation when I'd least expect/need it :D
 
Why didn't you take in if for a warranty repair? It looks like your truck is still within the time period. Too many miles? Just curious...
