BHAF vs stock air filter

The M-D TDR Thank You To Our Fall Brawl Sponsors & Vendors....

Well my third LP is going out so I am in need to fix the problem before it looses to much pressure. What is the longest lasting setup available right now? How goes the Product Egineering pumps? Are they holding up in our application or have they gone the way of the Mallory pump... useless? I have to get this done so don't hesitate to post any info. I would really like to here from those using the PE pumps... length of time, whether you have had any problems, etc, etc, etc. Thanks. :)

Chipstien,

I am running about the same power as you too. I put a good stock LP 1' forward from the tank and ran 1/2" ID hose all the way from the stock pickup in the tank all the way thru the stock fuel filter housing (in stock location) and then on thru to the VP44. With box on kill I cant get it below 9-10 psi WOT under load. Whole setup cost me about $50. Food for thought, there are plenty of good choices out there.

Look into Wildcat's fuel line kit for the 24V lift pumps. I keep hearing great things like "impossible to get to 0psi" about them from my "overvalved" friends ;) :-laf

no extry pumps fer me.

That's me he's talking about.

My 30,000k lift pump will hold 7. 5 absolute minimum with the Wildcat MAXFLOW kit. Not big banjos, real AN-8 fittings.

That 7. 5 is with DDUFM-race and DD3's, I am overfueled now, but the HP should jump with a turbo upgrade.

:D
