Lets talk injectors.

Not asking what brand or type just curious on two things, maybe thee. First can I mount a frame mount lift pump that runs along with factory carter pump that’s mounted on my OEM filter housing? If so let’s say the OEM pump poops but obviously my new frame mount hasn’t, is the OEM pump a flow through design when it fails? Or am I just better off deleting it and running just a frame mounted pump? Finally getting a kit together to be running 2 micron high Efficiency before my Baldwin 7977 and being the pump is original don’t think it can handle two filters at its age for long.

cant figure out how to delete this post but found a tech article that answered my question thank you

Replace it and buy a spare for the cost of the frame pump... I ran the OEM and a secondary GDP filter kit on my canister pump and turned the wick up on power.

That’s exactly what I am doing. I’m not spending the money on frame mount when I don’t need the extra PSI and GPH that the canister pump can provide. I may look into a faucet pump maybe in the feature but for now new OEM x2 and let her rip

If the "belt fed" GDP belt drive mechanical kit would have cleared the "mod" 6.7L damper on my 2003 I would have put their kit on. (Not available at this time.) I have bad luck with lift pumps no matter the price or configuration. (I have a graveyard of lift pumps. Race pumps are hard on brushes...) High % of Biodiesel I ran didn't help as the leftover meth in it hurts some pumps, but, IMO no need to spend extra and have the same reliability problems the electrics all have. In tank appears to be ok from what I read, but, I went through GM's '90's "pain" and still don't trust in tank pumps.
