Well today was the day. I thought about every option over the past 2 days.
I didn't want to get stranded with the camper on, so I dropped it in the street at my buddy's house and drove the truck towing my Jeep to the shop.
Of course 8 am on the 101 freeway isn't the best and I expected the truck to die at any time but she kept on going. Then I began to doubt myself, maybe it is running ok so the last 2 miles to the shop I got on it and it would lose power and cut out so the problem is there.
Should have the FASS with filters on tomorrow and will be able to get the camper out of the street so the great city of LA doesn't get their panties in a bunch. I just paid a $50 parking ticket last week for street cleaning.
Anyway, as long as I have it in the shop he is going to install the Smarty for a few more ponies and next week all of the gauges. I have the Banks 4" exhaust so I will take it easy until I get the gauges.
Thanks Bob for the info on bypassing the lift pump, but I just didn't feel up to crawling under the truck at 7am and not really sure if I was comfortable with the work. I figured a flatbed from AAA would be easier and faster if needed.
