I had an Autometer Pro Comp Ultralite fuel pressure gauge installed about a month ago on my '99 2500. Engine is stock. For the first couple of days, the gauge ran around 12 psi idle and 6-7 at WOT. Then, it went up to around 16 psi idle and 10-11 WOT. For the past two weeks it is around 18-20 at idle and 14 at WOT. Do I have a sending unit going bad or something? 18-20 seems really high. I just changed the fuel filter, but it's still reading the same. Didn't have any problem priming the fuel system after the filter change, so lift pump seems to be working OK. Just wondering if anyone with the Autometer gauge has had simliar problems.

Varify these readings with a gauge mounted where the sending is, sounds kinda fishy because the oem l/p spillback opens at 16psi.

Cheers, Kevin
