Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Lift pump on the frame rail

When I mount my new Carter fuel pump on the frame rail what line do I cut and tap into? Top or bottom one?

I'm going to have to go outside and check under the truck which line it is, but I'm thinking it's the top. If you follow back from the existing lift pump location, you can trace which line is feeding the lift pump.

OK, I was wrong. The feed line is the bottom line on the frame rail in front of the cross-member. The top line is the return line to the tank.
