Like most everyone else, I am paranoid about my lift pump. I now have 26K on it (with no gauges). Lately I swear the thing doesn't always run when I turn the ignition on or when I bump the starter. Is my hearing going bad, or is this one of the signs of a failing pump (I have already bought a replacement for the inevitable)? Truck seems to run great.
