Just tested my lift pump. 10psi at idle, 8 cruising, 5 wot. On the way out? Any key words for a quick replacement under warranty?

I don't think you will have any problems getting it replaced, it does'nt meet the spec. that they have listed. 12 psi idle and 8 psi WOT.

..... those numbers actually look pretty good to me, 5 at WOT is the most important, anything 3 or better at WOT will supply addiquate lubricity and cooling to the vp-44

What to watch for is radical reading and 0 at wot, its like the pump around or some call it the bypass check is failing, I lost my OEM lift at 17 K , tore the old one apart and you would never believe it if you didnt see it but if ... ... ... ..... OH I'm sorry... ... ... ... ... ... ..... WHEN the OEM lift pump fails there is a small ball check that will open up to supply fuel from the discharge side of the pump back to the suction side ..... so it wont burn up??? any way this gallery or path for the fuel is get this ,"it travels thru the electric pump" so once this check opens now your pump is saturated with fuel, it s a assinine setup and if someone wants to see this OEM marvel just give me your adress and I will ship it, but be prepared for a good laugh... ... ... ... ... the engeneers were on vacation that day ... ... ... ... ..... JMO ... ... ... ... ... KEVIN
