Okay. . I am finally on the eve of installing all of my new fueling toys. But I want to iron out a few, little, details. I am picking up the stock lift pump harness from Cummins West tomorrow, and plan on using the relay, diode method to power my pump. So... The positive lead from my new wiring harness should go to the switch on the relay. The positive source will be a 12ga, fused, direct from the battery, to the relay, and then on to the pump. Can I still use the original ground from the stock harness at the pump or am I getting all screwed up here?
My other question seems easier... What is the best way to splice into the fuel supply back at the tank? In other words what fittings, hose should I use to come from the tank to my new pusher pump?
I feel like I have asked you all a million questions. I'm sorry to rehash this, but your help is really appreciated. I only want to do this job once. (well and then again when the pump burns out)
