Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Lift pump pressure

I did a search and could not find this problem but my pressure reads 14psi at idle. As soon as I put it in drive it drops to zero but when I step on it the pressure goes back up to 12psi. Thanks.

It looks like you need a new lift pump. but I would also monitor the voltage to the lift pump, as it may be a different problem then just the pump. If the voltage isn't steady then it could be the ECM/ PCM circuitry,or a loose connection. (just my $. 02) " Ironbutt"
