About a month or so ago, I had Dodge replace my lift pump under warranty. They installed the in-the-tank LP. Well, my low fp led kept illuminating. So, I had my regular mechanic (he said it would do that) install a secondary pump. When I first had it installed, Im pretty sure I remember the mechanic saying I was getting about 25lbs at idle, and about 15 at WOT. I now see from other posts that this is too high and will cause problems The suggestion that Ive seen is to install the secondary pump in parallel to the first, rather than in series.

Heres my questions (and dilema). If the fist pump is in the tank, can the secondary pump even be hooked up in parallal ? If not, can the fp be turned down without removing the in tank pump, or causing any other potential problems ?

Thanks

Installed on mine this past weekend, totally gutted stock delivery system and went with the 392 system and 2 micron + big line kit. 19# @ idle and 17# @ WOT, Comp on 5-5. Wish This was available 4 years ago before I replace my 1st "out of warrantee Junk Carter LP.
