What is a realistic price for a lift pump for a 2000 Ram 3500? Where would I get the best price? Dealer, or Cummin's? How much time is involved in replacing it? Thanks in advance!
At Cummins NW in renton it is under $142 and over $140. (whistling) There is a marine Cummins shop on Northlake Way in Seattle but you may want to confirm the price there. BTW, Renton has them in stock and from what I have heard is they are scarce due to the fact that they are on national backorder.
About $140 from Cummins, or about $400 from Dodge. Takes about 45min for the first timer if he gets at it from the top of the engine rather than going under the truck and removing the starter.
