Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Lift pump question

Hi guys,



Just curious, will a lift pump from an 8. 3 C series fit a 5. 9? I have access to a new one cheap. They look about the same. Is there a different flow rate or pressure?

I would not change your pump. There are two different ratings, one has higher pressure, one has higher volume. I remember that much, but need to read my homework better to get the rest. The pumps are used on different applications, similar to the injection pumps, and I would imagine little gain in running the higher flow if your hp is less then 500.
