Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Lift Pump Questions

New to this and to this sight, I have have a 98 That has a oem lift pump that I plan to change with a fass pump. But the problem that I am having know is that the lift pump sometimes will not come on with the key, and when the pump dose not come on either dose the wait to start light but if I cycle the key the wait to start light and lift pump come on. Does any body have any idea. Thanks SPYE

If it is an on again off again thing I would look for a loose conection. Get the FASS on as soon as you can. I have the Air Dog on my 99. Put it on at around 100K

Found that pump is bad and was sometimes not coming on and cycling the key many times would trigger pump. Fass is on order thanks
