replaced lift pump with one from cummins now i have a broken fuel line any one ever have a fuel line go bad? it looks like the line closest to the front of the truck it has a 19mm nut it goes toward the fire wall and then i can't see it from there has anyone ever changed this? thanks in advance chris.

Asuming you are talking about a 12 valve, it sounds like you are talking about the return line from the injection pump. Yes these lines can break. When tightening you need to be real careful not to put the steel lines in a bind or over time they will break from the stress and vibrations. My return line cracked down at the mounting bracket on the back side of the pump while up in Canada during the winter (that was no fun). I found a shop up there and had it brazed up and it's still on there after some 200k+ miles.
