Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Lift Pump--So Cal Help

Hey guys



Looks like im going to be replacing the lift pump on my 12v on tuesday. I called the local cummins dealer and they said that the lift pump is 190 dollars and you need to buy a new 10 dollar wireing harness since cummins updated the lift pump and it needs this new harness... Does this sound right??? or is the dip**** thinking i have a 1996 24v????



I'm in socali and need to get the pump tomorrow, anyone have any suggestions for a place to go to with a fair price??

Sounds like he is clueless since there is no wire harness for this lift pump. I paid about $160 for mine from Cummins.

Yup, I priced one from Cummins West in Bakersfield and it was $160. No harness needed, that guy must be hitting the crack pipe.

I bought one the other day NEW for $92 + about $3 for 2 new gaskets. I called up my local CASE IH dealer and gave him part # J936317 for the lift pump and the gasket part # was J939258 times 2 gaskets.



He got me one the next day.

This price and wireing is for a 24v.

Just got the pump from United Truck and auto in slymar for 159. 95. . The prime button looks different from the original. anyone notice this?



Well i will put it on tomorrow.
