We got the lift pump for my son's 98 form O'reillys auto parts (http://www.oreillyauto.com/B2C/vehicle.ecatalog). It comes with the new wiring harness pigtail, 4 banjo bolt washers, and a LIFETIME warrenty for $165. It's a Carter just like the Dodge and Cummins pumps. The lifetime warrenty should make it a better deal than the others.

I just looked it up since there are no O'reillys auto parts shown west of Texas I picked one in Amarillo. Price was 175. 00 and limited lifetime warranty for a 99. I wonder what the limit is?

You're right. I just looked at the receipt and it was $174. 99.

As far as the limited warranty is concerned, all I could make out from what was on the back of the receipt was- not covered if improperly installed, abused, used for off road and racing purposes, and O'Reilly is not liable for other parts damaged if this one fails.

I worked for O'Reillys until about a year ago, as long as you have your receipt and you tell them it's bad, you'll get a new one, just like Wal-Mart.
