There has been some discussion on using STUDS to replace the bolts to mount the lift pump/transfer pump to the block on the 12 valve engine. Because of the inconvenient location of the pump. It has been found that the extra length and the cam lob position enables one to mount the components to the block more effeintly. The studs and nuts needed are as follows.
8mm x 1. 25 x 55mm Studs (2) (Hardened if possible)
8mm nylok nuts (2)
8mm lockwashers (2)
Loktite for threaded portion in block.
