Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Lift pump

Well some of you remember last year,the sunday after Thanksgiving when I was driving down to the Smokey Mtns in Tenn. for my honeymoon. Well my injection pump went on me and luck had it when Fes3er came by the hotel we stopped at,at MIDNIGHT... . (thanks again for the help)to lend a hand. Between Gorrilla,Fes3er and Massdiesel helping out,we found it to be the pump. So off I went to knoxville to get it repaired,limping the whole way there after I removed my box. We did stop just off the exit to the Smokies at a Dodge Truck dealer and of course,the only diesel mech there was away at diesel school. Would have been nice there since we were staying down the road. Well to get to the point here,I just had to change out my stock lift pump today with 57,000 hard miles on it when it dropped down to 2psi and stayed there for 2 days. . Well in 3 days we're going away again for our 1 year anniversary. . Whats gonna go next year????

If you luck goes anything like the project your working on, I'd make sure that there isn't any LEAKING before you left!

Do not hit your thumb... Full swing... . with a 22oz hammer... when your thumb is firmly planted against a cylinder head. It causes all sorts of problems.

Ah, BIGDIG, next year will probably be a trip to the maternity ward awaiting a "LIL DIG" ! :-laf
