Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) lift pump ?

Why does low fuel presure or lack of presure cause the injection pump to go out also? My guess, lubracation. From what I read it sounds like if you have a second generation you can count on this problem. I'm looking at a used 2000. D&KTRACTORS 93 250 2WD stock 213K

Tempature has alot to do with it The extra fuel that passes threw cools the VP's internals ... . but ,Mostly the reason the VP dies in conjuction with a bad LP is due to LOAD ... . the Vp is forced to pull its own fuel from the tank and its just too much for it to handle ... . heres some info. .
