Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) lift pump

just a little over 10,000 miles and the new lift pump i got back in June is already toast. , that is it, i am getting a fass and getting over this crappy lift pump problem.

Did you try to get a warranty replacement?

I'm doing some informal research. Do you frequently run your fuel less than a quarter full? I suspect fuel slosh allows slugging and kills the LP. My LP is still the original at 101,000+ miles. It has only been below 3/8 full 3 or 4 times and never to empty.

Advance Diesel Technology will have my FASS in tomorrow, that'll show the dealership for voiding my warranty... less money for them and better replacement parts and service to boot.
