As a new future new first gen owner (vintage 1992)... I'm finding that a lot of aftermarket products seem to start around 1994. So what is the preferred set up for our lift pumps? Is stock a diaphram? Is there a piston pump option? What about these other products FASS & BD?

My concern will be as I increase my Air & Fueling... I want to make sure I'm supplying enough fuel from the tank.

Pepecat,

Thanks for the link/info! Sometimes using the search is just too much information ;)

I will be giving a new home to "EarlKann's 83 crew cab conversion". Flying down this coming Saturday to LA area & driving it home... . sure hope she makes it. It will be the longest trip since her conversion. :-laf

Don you did the piston lift pump swap right? Stock is a diaphram lift pump. The piston lift pump would be all you'd ever need, and you could simply forget about it.

I had my stock injection pump rebuilt stock because I didn't know what kind of person I might be selling to.
