I was wondering pros and cons of the different lift pumps, fass, air dog,gdp fuel boss mechanical lift system, walbro pump systems.

The only con I can come up with applies to any of the systems that require a pickup tube... fuel slosh. I get around 1/8 tank and I drop to 0 PSI when I stop (fuel sloshes forward). When I put the pickup in it is within 1 quarters thickness from the bottom so I can only attribute it to the lack of decent baffles and no sump in the tank. Outside of that I like the FASS. I did do the vent kit, so even at 1/8th tank I put in 30 gallons.

Ive heard what you described, thats why I was leaning to the gdp mechanical it still uses the factory pump to start and if it has loss of pressure I believe

I understand...

I left the factory stuff all in place and was planning to put a pressure switch in to kick the factory lift pump on in the event of 0 PSI... but haven't gotten around to it yet. With #2 being $$$ I might cry if I had to put an extra 4 gallons in anyway! I'll get to it one day...

I uses a modified Liberty canister to feed my AD100 and plumbed the AD return back into the canister to get rid of my problems when the tank gets low, here's a link:
