It’s located on the driver’s side on the firewall side of and just below the fuel filter.
So much topic because if anything seems prone to failure on the CTD, it’s the Lift Pump. And also because if your lift pump goes and you don’t know it (reason for fuel pressure gauge) then the injection pump is doing all the work of getting the fuel from the tank (not good) and the probability goes up that you will end up with a bad injection pump (read expensive). I don’t blame you for not wanting to delve into all the information surrounding this topic. There is a lot of it and some of it’s confusing. There are some very good threads though.
