Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Lift pump ????

I installed a lift pump about 5k ago. Lately it has been acting up ie pressure going from 12-14 to zero fp shut truck off --- then restart and I have normal fp again for 2-3 min and same thing happnes again-- zero fp. . This happened about a wk ago then all was fine until today it started doing the same thing again. Last time the pump took a dump it just went all at once not like this. Could it be a connection or is the pump going south. TIA

Lift Pump

Gary I checked connections and they were alright so I put in a new pump in and problem solved. I didn't think that a pump would take a dump at only 5k. Maybe that was a Mon. or Fri. pump.
