Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Lift pumps

I have recently installed a Juice with attitude, great power and so forth. The problem is low fuel pressure when towing my camper. I want to install a lift pump but don't know which one. The most popular is the Fass I think, can anyone tell me about BD, or any other ones that are as good or better. Thank you for any help.

I have an AirDog on my truck that is two years old and has 140,000 miles on it with zero issues and 19psi idle or WOT. The pump is extremely quiet. The replacement Fleetguard filters are very inexpensive and you can choose a 2 micron if you want, which would be good for the ULSD fuel. You will not regret having AirDog on your truck!

I have the Glacier Diesel GFS-392 and love it! Excellent quality, real quiet, fairly easy to install and great customer service. I run 20 psi at idle and never below 14 psi at wot. The AirDog and FASS are good units also, but more expensive. The RASP requires you to do your own plumbing design (Glacier now has a belt drive pump as well).

Are the AirDog pumps any quieter than the Fass pumps? How do their filters compare to the Fass filters size wise?

i would go with the fass my uncle has had his for quite some time and has not had any problems wit it or anything. he loves it.

I have no complaints with my FASS but I'm sure the other's are good too. The only time I can hear my FASS running is in cold weather if I'm standing right beside it and even then it's not something you would notice unless you knew to listen for it. I've never been able to hear my FASS when the engine is running but I've never riden in the back seat either.

Which Fass pump are you running? A buddy of mine has a Fass 150/150 system and it makes a fair amount of noise... not that I mind the noise I was just curious

Thanks for your help, you guys, I ordered a fass 95 today, I tried to contact the air dog dealer twice but both times his mail box was full. This was somthing I wouldn't want to happen if I was out on the road and my pump gave out. See ya. ---Dale

Airdog here, zero issues. Did you call Pureflow Technologies? The phone number there has worked all the times I called, and experienced a really good customer service. Kenny is the guy in the Tech Dept. to talk to.

Good Choice in pumps. I have the FASS 95/150gph and love it. . 18psi at idle and never drops below 15-16psi at wot...

I called Kenny at Pureflow (AirDog) a couple of times and never had a problem reaching him. .
