tires

I hope he was on his way to the tire shop to get his meats mounted. Do they make big tires for 20" wheels? Even a 35" tire would look small on that thing.

Vaughn

I believe this is the same truck that is as the top of the forum, except now it has 38" tires. (see next thread)

Hey Guys,

This truck was at last years SEMA show . It is a promotional truck for a lift kit put out by some co( cant remember who) This truck was /is the downfall of my 01. It was the first lifted 02 1500 that i had seen at the time. I thought it was too much then and i still feel the same now. What it did show was the potential of the new rams. They have the potential to look awsome lifted, and when i got back to my 01 in the parking lot, i could see she was crying a little bit as we both new it was the beginning of her demise :(

I can only hope my 03 (when i can get one) doesn't have to experience the same pain

Does it ever end??????????????????

DD

soon to be an 03 guy

IFS???

Do the 03's have IFS??? I looked under a few a while back... didn't remember it... Looks like a GM front end... except with coils.

Re: IFS vs. solid front axle

Yeah what he said only meaner:p

My experience with IFS was one long dance with part replacement and constant re-alignment

Of course, that was on a bow-tie and what else can you expect:D

Good. I wouldn't have it any other way! :D From the pictures above it looked somewhat like a lift kit for a GM with IFS. Sudenly I thought... oh crap, they didn't  I hated my 90 GMC 3/4 ton with IFS, worst 4x4 I ever had.
