I am building a long arm 8" suspension lift for my 2005 dually. I am going to run a 36x13. 50 Irok on the stock wheels. My question is I got a good deal on some 1. 5" spacers for the rear duals, and do you think 1. 5" will be enough for 13. 50s? I have seen a 2" on some 35x12. 50 and it had plenty of room, so I would think this 1. 5" would be enough? Has anyone ever DONE this? I dont pull anything right now, but I may later.

Thanks in advance guys!

I run a very similar set-up with my dually and from past experience I would say you will need another set of spacers. When running wide tires like your 13. 50's you will need one set of spacers , just about the size of your 1-1/2" spacers, just to clear the springs and frame. Then you will need at least a set of 3" spacers to separate the dual rear wheels, I run a set of 4" rear spacers between the tires and a 1-1/4" spacer to get the tires out away from the frame.

Well, I know 12. 50s will fit with just a 2" spacer between the rear duals, I didnt think about the tires rubbing the springs... ... thats a new can of worms, I will do some measuring on that end and see what what I got.

Thanks y-not for adressing that, I sure would have been #@$%! if I built everthing and it came down to not fitting becuase of a freaking spacer. :-laf

I would run the 2" spacer or even 2. 5" if you can find one. 13. 50s are wide and I ran a 37"x12. 50 Swamper SSR with a 2" Arrowcraft spacer on my dually for years until I recently turned it into a sled puller. My 12. 50s had about 1/4" space between each other with that 2" spacer and I think 13. 50s would definately touch. I had a really good picture of the SSRs that would help this thread but I can't find the thing. I think it got deleted. But here is a pic of my 38x11. 50x16 Boggers that I only use during the winter time. Hopefully this helps. :D That is still with the 2" spacer.

You might try running 3" spacers for 13. 50s but if it was my truck I would get a 2" spacer and another set of tires no wider than 12. 50".

Did you have to use a spacer on the inside duals as well?

No, just the spacer you were refering to but a 2". Put the inside wheel on, bolt up the spacer, then put the outside wheel on the spacer studs and bolt it up.
