I want to lift the rear of my truck about an inch. I'm not real crazy with the idea of adding bigger blocks (the factory ones are 4-3/4" tall), but it seems like the only easy way to do it. I found some 5-1/2" blocks (new) for a reasonable price, and my u-bolts are already long enough after replacing the factory overloads with the Roadmasters. Wondering if anyone has done a mild lift on the rear, and how you did it.

Pete,

I bought skyjacker replacement leaf springs DR76, supposed to net 1-1. 5" lift, and eliminate the blocks. I'll be installing them this spring. I wanted to eliminate the blocks because I think that they contribute to axle hop.
