I have one, very happy with the design and quality of the piece. I have 4 8" 130 watt lights on it, I tried 5" Hella 500s but they looked to small. Installation was simple, the bar has quarter inch plated that get sandwiched between the tow hooks and the tow hook mounts. Seems pretty tough, not sure how well it would hold up in a hard impact but I think it could take a small bump without any problem.

Does anyone make a bar that doesn't mount on the tow hook area? Doc

Everyone LOVES my Randy Ellis bar (I powdercoated it gloss black though), I've yet to install my Lightforce Blitz 240's and newly released Hella 4000 mini's.

When I ordered mine it was available either powder coated silver or gloss black, same price, I opted for the black.
