This question has probably been answered prior to my membership, but I hope someone can shed a little light on the subject for me.

I am completing a flatbed on my '99 3500 and in so doing I have added eleven more lights than the stock total. My question is: Will the increase in number of lights burn out the head light switch? I do have the painless wiring, but haven't installed it yet. Is there a way to hook the painless wiring circuit to the switch so the marker lights will come when the headlight switch is activated?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

No problem, just take a relay, 30 amp Bosch not radio shack, and run a feed fron the headlight switch to control it. Run a fused line from the battery to the main feed on the relay, and run the new load off the switched side of the relay. Turning on the head light switch will energize the relay and operate the new load. You can use the painless setup the same way, rather than hooking up to the ignition on side, hooh up to the parking light side. By doing this way you will waste alot of capability. I'd opt for the single relay.
