Lightbulb replacement on ac panel for 06

How in the world are you suppose to get to the minibulbs behind the fan, heather contropanel on an 06. Looked in to Alldata and as far as i understand they want you to tear down the whole dashcover from right to left to get to the two screws holding the control panel.



Need advise asap. Have they ever done a story on this in the mag ?

This has been covered a couple times... bulbs are a dodge-only thing.

If the dash is similar in style to my 04, you simply grab the center bezel and it pulls off from around the radio and HVAC control to the ashtray and includes both center air vents. The cigarette lighter wires will be attached, and that makes it a PITA to pull out very far.

Once off, you simply remove two or three screws holding the HVAC controls in place and pull it out, replace the bulbs, and reinstall everything in reverse order. The bezel just snaps into place.

The dash is different in an 06. 04 is a quickie. I am still affraid i got a problem.

Its not that hard. You have to remove the drink holder/shift cover on the floor. Then work your way up from there.

Search for the AC blend door fix thread which should give you several photos.

Just a tip once you follow those directions and get it apart, dont put the 2 screws that hold the bezel back in. This will allow easier access should it be needed in the future.
