Lighting additions inside

Lighting inside the cab at the back of the quad cab, their is no lighting, on my other trucks I found the hot wire,run a relay and added more lighting on it's own circuit, has anyone done this??? and what wire and where did you tap in, I also am wondering about the slow off dimming feature I'm thinking this will make the relay chatter???

Using a small power interior bulb I'd bet you could just run in parallel with the factory overhead lamp without any relay and not have any trouble...

The lights I use are very brite and have a big bulb,so I don't like to run through the factory setup, as it seems everything runs through one computer, and if I trash that it would not be cheap fix,my Ford I traded on my new Dodge, I was able to just tap into it and no problem,the chevy work I have, the wires look like about 20gage tiny winy,I did the relay setup, work great.
