I was wondering if anyone knew how i can tap into the high beam circuit of my headlights for a power source so i can power my off-road lights off that and they will turn off when i go to the low beams. Iwould like to do this under the dash if possible. I have them hooked up now using a switched souce to power the relay but i want to change it so all i dont have to hunt for the toggle switch to kill them, just turn off my high beams. Also those that have installed the 2" front leveling kit, could you give me the pros and cons and anything else you had to do after installing the spacers.

thanks to all

Not sure if the light switch on a 99 uses a positive or ground signal to turn on high beams. If it's a positive signal, splice into that wire for a source to your relay. If ground signal, splice into that wire and run to ground source of relay instead of grounding relay to vehicle. As far as the lift, even with 2", your track bar will move your axle towards the drivers side due to increase in angle. On my truck, I lengthen my factory track bar by using a press to take some of the curve out of the bends. It doesn't take much. I think mine needed 3/8". My next step is a DT Track Bar and a drop pitman arm. Hope someone else can tell you for sure about your light switch.

If you haven't already, I suggest you loosen all of the control arm bolts and track bar bolts, jounce the suspension, and retighten them. This will allow the bushings to return to a "neutral" position and it should ride better - made a big difference on mine. Might want to do it 1 or 2 at a time so you don't change the caster angle.
