Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Lights flickering

My lights are flickering when I accelerate hard. Any ideas?

I would check the battery cable conections for cleanliness and tightness. Do the simple things first -sometimes it can be an easy fix.

As I recall dimming and brighting of lights is caused by a the alternator.

Checking the battery cables is good idea and while your at it check the wires to alternator and bearings.
