Well, my brother in law and I cut the 92 down this weekend by 28" to fit the 8' bed.



Driveshaft was cut today and I opted for all new u-joints and a new center carrier.



Here are some pics. Any advice for getting better resolution with a 112K file size limit?

Why did you cut it down?



I looks like it'd make a cool drag truck.

It was a Cab & Chassis with a 12' stake body on it. By converting it to a "pickup" I save about $900 a year on insurance because it is no longer considered a commercial vehicle.



I had 28" between the cab and pickup bed and it didn't look too cool. It was cheaper to remove the 28" than to try to put something in there.



Believe it or not, the 8" bed fits right on there ( it looks really short but looks can be deceiving).
